Sri Kagapujandar Thabavanam Ashram Sinna Aathinam Society Malaysia’ was established by the founder and advisor of Thabavanam Ashram. His Grace Sri Roma Rishi Siddhar Manimantra Ausagar Assan Srila Sri Essana Siva Subramaniyar Swamigal known as Guruji to all and as Dr. Supramaniam P Palanisamy to the world of siddha medicine and treatment.

Thabavanam Ashram first existed as a gurukulam (Guru-based community) comprising of the guru, disciples, devotees and seekers of siddha treatment. As this fellowship widened, the need for a permanent establishment became a necessity. In the year 1998, the Ashram became a reality in Padang Jawa, Klang. It was built as a tent like structure in a dense jungle. In the year 2000, it became a wooden building with an attap roofing. An outdoor hall and an administrative building was later added.

In the year 2004 the Thabavanam Welfare Society Malaysia was established and it was through this organization the disciples and devotees of His Grace continue to offer their ‘seva’ (services) to the under privileged community. Thus the single parent family programme was launched in Batang Berjuntai, Kuala Selangor. Another wing, the Help Centre became active in collecting and supplying clothes and furniture to needy homes.

The advisor realized that a registered spiritual body was essential to carry out spiritual activities and teachings. The orientation of the teaching’s are towards the principles based on Hinduism, self realization and salvation. Therefore the Sri Kagapujandar Thabavanam Ashram Sinna Aathinam Society was effectively registered in July 2007. The society is well known as Thabavanam Ashram!
 
The Thabavanam Ashram Committee carries out a board spectrum of the activities ranging from spiritual, education, motivational, welfare and culture-oriented activities. This is line with the society’s aim and objectives to bring to the fore the eternally shining pure inherent qualities existing within each one of us.
